Laika has new friends!

Since launch, Laika’s goal has been simple. Be fair, be unique, be future-proof. We are now happy to say that this has been a success, as not only have we been able to hit every single target on our roadmap, but we are also ahead of schedule!

And that’s not all! We have had to chance to partner with some amazing projects and we are already in the works to find even more new friends for Laika as she continues on her journey. In this article we have a full breakdown of what we’ve done, what’s happening right now and what to expect in the future!

Binance Smart Chain

A lot has happened since Laika launched on BSC only a month ago. We started out simple but very quickly grew and made several new partnerships along the way.

Our first partner was Token Kennel, providing a unique staking solution for Laika holders. By staking, users are able to receive additional rewards on top of our existing auto-staking feature, allowing long term holders to grow their Laika holdings even more! As a bonus, the Laika Team has whitelisted Token Kennel, ensuring that the only fee users have to pay is the onboarding fees. The Token Kennel’s Laika pool saw an initial TLV of over $25,000 on its first day and high APYs are still available for all Laika holders!

Our second partner was Dogen.Finance, another pioneer in the crypto space. Our partnership with Dogen allows holders to farm with their Laika, providing yet another use case and even more rewards for our community. Similar to the Token Kennel, we have whitelisted our Dogen farms, ensuring that users don’t have to worry about additional fees.

Our third partner was Snowge, one of the first community tokens on BSC. Snowge is known as one of the most secure tokens on BSC and our recent listing on Snowgeswap allows even more ease of access for users that are looking to buy or sell Laika on our V1 Liquidity pools.

With both staking and farming now available for Laika, we will continue to expand our partnerships with additional projects in the near future, providing Laika with even more use cases over time. Alongside this we will be developing our own platform with additional tools and features that will ensure there is a never-ending list of benefits to holding Laika.

Harmony

With our Harmony bridge now live, we have overcome the biggest hurdle that most other tokens are currently facing on BSC. Although BSC is a wonderful platform, our bridge allows users on other chains to also take advantage of Laika while also ensuring that Laika can continue on, even if BSC doesn’t. This not only gives access to a whole new market but also ensures that Laika remains future-proof for many years to come.

Laika is also already listed and available on several Harmony exchanges including MochiSwap and ViperSwap. Other exchanges such as SushiSwap will also be added over time, giving users even more options with time.

With that being said, this is only the start for Laika on Harmony. Our very first Harmony partnership with Dogen is just around the corner and soon you will be able to use your Laika to farm on Harmony as well! This would make us Dogen’s first official Harmony partner and is yet another example of how Laika is staying ahead of the competition.

As we continue to grow, we will be expanding our presence on Harmony even further and are already in talks with several major Harmony projects in regards to further partnerships down the line. This means that staking Laika and other features will also be available on Harmony very soon!

Marketing

It’s been a busy month for Laika’s marketing team! From ad campaigns to partnerships to AMAs and everything else in between, there has been a lot that has happened on the marketing side of things.

After reviewing internal data, we have found that our ad campaigns on websites like Poocoin and Bogged have had the biggest success and as a result we have decided to continue advertising there indefinitely. We will also be increasing the rate at which ads appear, ensuring that we introduce as many new holders as possible to Laika.

In addition to this, Laika just launched on its first major exchange as well! With Coinsbit as our partner and MUSDT as our trading pair, we have ensured that Laika’s price is fully supported as well as being introduced to a much bigger market. Similar to our farming and staking pools, Coinsbit has also been whitelisted which means no transaction fees for depositing and withdrawing your Laika!

Lastly, we are finalizing details about our next public AMA which will be with one of the most trusted crypto Telegram groups on the internet. We are currently finalizing the details and a specific announcement regarding this will be made at a later time.

Our next major marketing goal will be to get listed on a second major exchange, ensuring that we provide newcomers with even more options in regards to buying Laika as well as helping spread the Laika name to other communities with tens of thousands of members.

We are also keeping an eye on influencers and will eventually be focusing on viral marketing once the time is right. In the meantime, our community has also done a great job spreading the word by helping Laika reach the front page on several major crypto subreddits, websites such as CryptoMoonShot.net and more!

Our contests have also been a success with hundreds of users participating, contributing art and memes to our subreddit and doing everything they can to earn the chance to receive over $2,500 in free Laika as well.

Overall, we are happy with the natural growth we have seen from Laika and we will use all the lessons learned since launch to optimize our marketing strategies for the long term.

The Future

BSC, Harmony, marketing, that’s all great. But what’s next?

First, we are pleased to announce the next chain that Laika will be integrating is… *drumroll*

MATIC! Matic is a layer-2 scaling platform that enables fast, easy and secure off-chain transactions for not only payment transactions, but also generalized smart contracts. This, combined with the fact that the DeFI ecosystem on Matic is growing at an incredibly fast rate, made it the obivous choice for our next major chain to integrate with.

Not only that, but we will also be quickly bridging to several other chains alongside Matic, which will rapidly introduce Laika to even more markets, partnerships and additional tools in the near future.

Alongside this and as mentioned previously, we will continue to develop our own internal tools and features for the Laika Protocol, providing Laika holders with a plethora of options to choose from. Our Roadmap will soon be updated and additional details will be available over time.

Most importantly, we know that DeFI moves fast, and so must we. As new technology and solutions become available, we will continue to integrate them with Laika as we stick to Laika’s core principles, one of which is to ensure that the Laika Protocol remains future-proof and ready for whatever comes next.

In conclusion, we are incredibly proud of what our team and our community has managed to achieve in such a short amount of time. The world of crypto can be scary and unpredictable, but that is also Laika’s biggest strength. Just like our favorite puppy, we will also continue to brave the unknown and explore new horizons.
